Autumn Color

Fall is here. The few birds that visit the river are busy. And the trees are busy shedding their unneeded chlorophyll and solar collectors. New England is famous for its autumn colors and I respond and try to capture a tiny bit of it without resorting to cliché. These are direct drawings, plein air of course in pastel and ink mostly.
